Barnes and Noble is exiting the tablet market and as such, it is not surprising to see that its tablets are being cleared out. Perhaps the best deal right now is the Nook HD+ tablet, a 9in model available from PC World/Currys for £140, down from £230. Use this £10-off-£100-instore voucher form VoucherCodes till 4 August to cut down that price even further to £130.
What's more you get a free £20 voucher to spend instore when you buy this device with a case and you get two months free mobile Wi-Fi as well when you purchase such a device.
The Nook HD+ has a full HD display, just like the new Google Nexus 7, although one that has a lower pixel density. It comes with 1GB of RAM, a dual-core system-on-chip, a TI OMAP4470 clocked at 1.5GHz, 16GB onboard storage with a microSD card slot, Bluetooth, HDMI, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and up to 10 hours battery life. There's no cameras though but that's a small compromise for a tablet that cheap. Check out our review of the Barnes & Noble Nook HD+ here.
