Head over to MobilePhonesDirect to grab the Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone for a mere £17 per month on a two year contract with an initial fee of £150. That translates into a total cost of ownership of £558 or £23.25 per month, which is about £100 more than the cost of the device by itself.
The deal, available from Vodafone includes 100 minutes, unlimited texts, 100MB data allowance and 500MB BT Openzone Wi-Fi data, a package which will be useful to low-usage customers while others will probably need to pay extra for something beefier.
The handset, otherwise known as the i9505, packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600, a quad-core model clocked at 1.9GHz, 4G/LTE functionality, 2GB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage with a microSD card slot, a massive 5in display with a 1,920 x 1,080 pixel resolution, a 13-megapixel camera and a front-facing 2-megapixel one, 802.11ac, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, a 2,600mAh battery.
As expected it features Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with Samsung's very own TouchWiz UI and a few nifty features like S Voice, S Translator or Air View. You can read our review of the Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone here.
