Deal: £300 HP Pavilion 14-b003 SA is cheapest Ultrabook in the UK

Want a real Ultrabook but always thought it was too expensive? Think again. You can now get a real Ultrabook (rather than a slimline notebook or one of the many thin-and-light on the market) like this HP Pavilion 14 for just under £300. The price comes with a free 12-month license of BullGuard Internet Security and you can bump the standard one-year collect and return warranty for HP products to three for £50.

The 14-b-003SA runs on a dual-core Intel Core i3-3217U processor clocked at 1.8GHz with 3MB cache and based on the Ivy Bridge architecture.

There's also 4GB of RAM, a 32GB system SSD, a 320GB hard disk drive, a 14in display with a 1,366 x 768 pixel resolution, Windows 8, an Intel HD Graphics 4000 GPU, three USB ports, an Ethernet connector, HP ProtectSmart, an island-style keyboard, multi-touch touchpad, a webcam, Altec Lansing speakers, a HDMI port, up to five hours battery life and a weight of only 1.8Kg.

Ebuyer sells a slightly beefed up model, with a 500GB hard disk drive spinning at 5,400RPM for an additional £20.
