Deal: Samsung XE303C 3G Chromebook comes with free £50 cashback and free smartphone

Want an ARM-based Chromebook device? Chances are that you won't be able to get a better deal than at John Lewis where the Samsung XE303C12-H01 Chromebook is on sale for £299. While you may baulk at first at the price, you will surely appreciate the fact that it comes with some seriously cool perks.

First there's an additional year of warranty thanks to John Lewis, then there's a six month free subscription to John Lewis Broadband (you will have to pay for the line rental though).

Then there's a £50 cashback which brings the cost of the device to £249, a free Samsung Galaxy Mini smartphone worth £50 and 100MB data allowance for a year in 36 countries (including many European countries, USA, Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong) courtesy of Globalgig.

The value of these freebies, outweigh the cost of the device itself. Other than the fact that it is a 3G device, it's worth mentioning that it runs on a dual-core Cortex-A15 based Samsung Exynos 5250 clocked at 1.7GHz, has a 16GB SSD, two USB ports, runs on Google Chrome OS, runs for up to 10 hours, has a webcam, 2GB of RAM, Wi-Fi and an 11.6in display with a 1,366 x 768 pixel resolution.
