Deal: £370 Dell Quad Core laptop with blu-ray and Geforce graphics

If you fancy a relatively high-end laptop for under £400, then check out this Dell XPS 17, otherwise labelled as the L702X. That laptop is on sale for just over £369 with 369 Nectar points via Currys_PCWorld on its eBay outlet.

The device, which was once one of Dell's top of the range laptop, is a refurbished model. It comes with a full year warranty and it is advisable that you read the key terms and conditions before committing to any purchases.

It runs on a quad-core Intel Core i7-2630QM processor with 6MB cache, a 2GHz clock speed with a 45 per cent turbo clock and is a second generation Sandy Bridge part.

The rest of the features include 6GB of RAM, an Nvidia Geforce GT550M GPU, a 640GB hard disk drive, a 6-cell 56Whr battery, a 2-megapixel webcam, a Blu-ray drive, Windows 7 Home Premium and a 17in display with a 1,600 x 900 pixel resolution.

Connectivity options include a card reader, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Gigabit Ethernet, Mini DisplayPort, four USB ports and a HDMI connector. The laptop weighs a beefy 3.4Kg and is up to 39mm thick, which is about average for a 17in model.
