If you want a powerful smartphone that looks like an iPhone 4S but runs on Android and doesn't cost as much, then check out the Ascend P6 from Chinese manufacturer Huawei, which was launched only a few weeks ago in London.
The device is officially the world's thinnest smartphone at 6.18mm and has an aluminium allow frame and back cover. It runs on a quad-core processor clocked at.15GHz with 2GB of RAM, 8GB onboard storage, a microSD card slot, a 4.7in display with a 1,280 x 720 pixel resolution, a rear 8-megapixel camera and a front-facing 5-megapixel one plus Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
The P6 is a smartphone of contrast though. We can only but regret the lack of a more powerful system-on-chip and internal memory (even if it has a storage expansion slot), the absence of 4G/LTE capabilities.
One can therefore expect an update to this smartphone to pop up later this year with all these improvements plus, almost certainly, a higher resolution display. Interested? Feel free to read our review of the Huawei Ascend P6 smartphone here.
