Deal: £164 Asus Google Nexus 7 3G 32GB tablet

Check out this Google Nexus 7 tablet, one which is available from Argos' eBay outlet for £164, a price that includes 160 Nectar points. Note that this is a refurbished model that carries a full 12-month warranty. It is also the more expensive 3G model, one that comes by default with 32GB of storage onboard.

As a reminder, this device was released last year and proved to be a massive seller, prompting other vendors, apart from Samsung, to follow suit and release quad-core models (or cut the prices of their existing models).

The Nexus 7 was and still is a pretty capable device. It comes with a 1,280 x 800 pixel IPS display, a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 system-on-chip clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM, 32GB storage, up to 10 hour battery life, a micro USB port, Bluetooth but no microSD card slot or rear camera.

The new Nexus 7 tablet improves markedly on the current model and is already available from £199 with the 3G model on sale for £299. It adds a rear camera, bumps the screen resolution, the onboard system memory and the processor. Read our review of the Google Nexus 7 here.
