Deal: £280 BlackBerry Z10 smartphone

As far as price cuts are concerned this surely ranks in the top 10. You can now get the BlackBerry Z10 smartphone from Amazon for £279.99 (the lowest price is in the right hand side column).

This handset, which was announced at the beginning of the year at an event that also saw the adoption of the name BlackBerry by the Canadian company (simultaneously dropping RIM), has seen its price drop by more than 60 per cent in just six months.

As a reminder, this is a 4G compatible smartphone, one that runs on BlackBerry 10 OS and a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon system-on-chip clocked at 1.5GHz. Other features include 2GB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage, NFC, a microSD card slot, an 8-megapixel camera and a 4.3in display with a 1,280 x 768 pixel resolution.

What sets it apart from the rest of the competition though are the numerous BlackBerry features like true multi-tasking, Flow, Calendar, Hub, keyboard, BBM with Screen Share and Protect. Read our review of the BlackBerry Z10 smartphone here.
