For the next two weeks or until stocks last, you can get the Apple MacBook Air MD323B/A laptop for as little as £849 (after a £100 cashback from Currys), around £280 less than the current top of the range model from the Cupertino-based manufacturer.
The MacBook Air is viewed by some as the original Ultrabook, a posher version of the Netbook. It is powered by a third generation dual-core Intel Core i5-3317U processor clocked at 1.8GHz with 3MB L3 cache and an Intel HD Graphics 4000 GPU.
Other features include a 13.3in display with a 1,440 x 900 pixel resolution, OS X Mountain Lion, 4GB of RAM, 256GB onboard storage, a 720p FaceTime HD camera, two USB 3.0 ports, Bluetooth 4.0, a Thunderbolt connector, up to seven hours battery life thanks to a 50Whr battery and a weight of only 1.35Kg, which makes of it one of the lightest laptops around with a screen that big.
The newer Apple MacBook Air (MD761B/A) comes with a fourth generation Haswell processor with a lower clock speed, a new onboard graphics GPU but the rest of the configuration is roughly the same. Check out our review of the Apple MacBook Air MD323B/A laptop here.
