You can purchase the Sony Xperia Z1 smartphone, which was announced recently at IFA, from Buymobiles.net for as little as £31 per month on a two year contract without an upfront fee. With a total cost of ownership of £744, this compares well to the cost of the phone which currently stands at around £500.
The offer, which is on T-Mobile, includes 600 minutes, unlimited texts, 1GB of mobile internet data allowance and free Wi-Fi on the underground. Note that the phone will only be available to buy from 23 September.
As for the device itself, it is a mix of the Sony Xperia Z and the Sony Xperia Z Ultra. From the former, it borrows everything except the processor and the camera. It uses the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC (clocked at 2.2GHz) as the Xperia Z Ultra and adds a 20.7-megapixel camera to it.
Other features include Android 4.3, 4G connectivity, IP58 certification (dust proof and water resistant up to 1m for 30 minutes). Check out Sony Xperia Z1: Hands-on preview here.
