Deal: £54 Nurvo 7in dual-core tablet

If you want a decent second or third tablet around the house but don't want to spend a lot, then consider the Nurvo 7in from Dabs Outlet on eBay. Granted this is no Nexus 7 or Apple iPad Mini but it costs just under £54 with delivery and 54 Nectar points which is a cracking deal.

It runs on an Infotmic X15 system-on-chip, a dual-core model clocked at 1GHz and based on the Cortex-A5. There's also 512MB of RAM, 4GB onboard storage, a 7in display with a 1,024 x 600 pixel resolution, microUSB, a microSD card slot, a rear 2-megapixel camera and a VGA front one, up to six hours battery life and Android 4.0 ICS.

With a weight of 300g and an 11mm thickness, it is slightly chunkier than tablets with similar displays. If you'd like to get something better, then there are plenty of dual-core tablets around the £90 mark (like the Archos 80 Titanium) and a couple around £120 wth quad-core processors (including the old version of the Nexus 7).
