To celebrate the launch of Lenovo's 'Inspire Me' campaign, the computer manufacturer recently teamed up with London's Tech Hub to stage a pitching event with an edge.
For the chance to win £1,000 and a Lenovo Yoga laptop, over 50 participants were challenged with successfully proposing their ideas to a panel of judges. However - and here's the twist - each pitch had to be less than a minute long.
Amongst the judges were Andy Evans, CEO of Net Communities, Matt Groves, director of interpretation at Saatchi & Saatchi and Alex Wood, the editor of Tech City News.
"I like the quick-fire approach of 60 seconds," said Evans. "It went by really quickly and there were some some really great presentations there."
The Inspire Me campaign is aimed at motivating the next generation of entrepreneurial talent from a wide range of industries, including technology, music and fashion.
You can enter the competition for a chance to win an all expenses paid trip to New York, Tokyo, Antigua or Portland, as well as £1,500 spending money and a brand new Lenovo Yoga 11S laptop.
