Deal: £95 Arnova 10.1 tablet

Arnova might not be a household brand but it is actually wholly owned by French gadget maker Archos. One of its products, the Arnova 101 G4 tablet is on sale at Toysrus for £94.99 (enter the code 9908080969990) at checkout with free delivery.

It is ideal for those looking for a device that provides with much more real estate compared to a 7in tablet.

You get a 1.5GHz Cortex-A9-based system-on-chip (possibly from TI, note that Arnova's spec sheet mentions a 1.2GHz SoC), 1GB of RAM, 8GB onboard storage, a microSD card slot, a USB host port, a front-facing camera, a 10.1in display with a 1,024 x 600 pixel resolution, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and a micro HDMI output.

This is a great value tablet if you can live with the lack of a rear camera and with the lower-than-average resolution. Competition around £100 include the Avoca 8in tablet, the Archos GamePad, the B&N Nook HD, the HP Slate 7, and the Sumvision Cyclone Voyager 27.
