Online retailer Photodirect sells the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet for £216 with a three-month warranty or £284 with a two-year warranty. This device has been until the beginning of last month, the company's top of the range tablet.
The GT-N8013 has a quad-core Samsung Exynos processor clocked at 1.4GHz, the same that is found in the Samsung Galaxy S3, with 2GB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage, an S Pen Stylus, a 10.1in display with a 1,280 x 800 pixel resolution, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (upgradable to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean), Bluetooth 4.0, a microSD card slot, a rear 5-megapixel camera and a front-facing 2-megapixel one plus an array of Samsung applications like Chat On.
The tablet is less than 10mm thick and weighs under 600g, which is impressive for a device with such a big screen. For those looking for a slightly more portable device, Samsung also produces an 8in model with almost the same hardware specs. Read our review of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 here.
