Somehow, Three sells the LG G2 smartphone for a mere £400 on PAYG and if you're amongst the first 3,000 customers to buy it from that mobile phone operator, you will get a free cover worth £50. Note that you will need to buy the device with a £10 topup.
It would actually make sense to combine this with a £15 per month SIM-only "The One Plan" package from Three, one which gives unlimited data, 2,000 minutes and 5,000 texts. The total cost of ownership of such a package would be £760 over two years or an effective monthly cost of £31.67.
Many believe that the LG G2 will share the same DNA as the Google Nexus 5, the follow up to the wildly popular Nexus 4 smartphone. There's at least one aspect which will be common amongst both, it is the lack of a microSD card slot.
As for the rest of the specification, the G2 has some cracking hardware. A 5.2in display with full HD resolution and IPS technology, a 13-megapixel rear camera with OIS, 4G, rear function keys, a thin bezel, 2GB RAM and 16GB onboard storage. For more check out our LG G2: Hands-on preview here.
