Daily tech deals: £20 iPad voucher at Argos, Galaxy S3 for slightly less than at ASDA, and Plusnet just handing out broadband

Starting today, warehouse-with-front-desk vendor Argos will be giving shrewd deal-finders a £20 voucher if they spend over £100 on an iPad or tablet. That's £10 for paying over £100, and £10 for buying a tablet. Since it's damn near impossible to spend less than a cool £100 on a slate, this comes out as a pretty sweet deal. It means you could get a Brand New Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 8GB for £109.99, and pay only £89.99 on balance. And since what you can buy at Argos is, well, pretty much anything, a £20 voucher could go a long way to sorting out one of your Christmas presents. Because it's getting closer, people, and you should be panicking already!

The Samsung Galaxy S3 16GB is now available from Amazon at its lowest ever price: £234.99. Just the other day, it was matching ASDA Direct's price at £239, but the online megaplex just had to go one better, and it's sly deal-hunters who reap the benefit. Fly, my pretties! Fly!

To round off today's deals, Plusnet has too much broadband just lying around in its large, dusty broadband warehouses. That's why it's shipping it out to new customers at a borderline-insane price of £2.99 per month, for six months. Sure, it jacks it up to £9.99 for the six months after that, and £12.66 after that, but it's not like broadband grows on trees. It's grown in enormous hydroponic complexes deep beneath the ocean. Or so I'm told.
