Apples may grow on trees, but deals for Apple products certainly don't. That's why the news that Play.com is selling the Apple iPad Air for just £329 via SpencerMann should have you biting your knuckle in glee.
The iPad Air is a tablet that's stuck to its New Year exercise regime. Slimmed down to almost a quarter of the size of its predecessor, the iPad Air is just 7.5mm thin. Its new skimpy price, then, is more than appropriate having dropped seventy pounds (sterling, that is) from its £399 RRP.
For that investment you get the iPad Air's 64-bit architecture which allows the implementation of more powerful apps, plus its A7 chip that doubles the speed and performance of the A6X chip used in the previous generation iPad. Not only that, a 9.7in Retina Display maintains the iPad Air's gargantuan 2048 x 1536 resolution screen that can display up to 3.1 million colours at a time.
All in all, not a bad deal to brighten up a dismal January day.
As always, we strongly advise that you read our standard daily deals disclaimer should you have a purchase intent. These deals are not sponsored but are instead chosen solely because they represent, in our humble opinion, a cracking bargain.
