They're also, however, apparently passionate about food, film, music and photography too. So passionate in fact, that they've just launched a search to find the brightest talents in those respective sectors.
Working alongside Sunday Times cook Gizzi Erskine, award-winning actor and producer Idris Elba, singer-songwriter Paloma Faith and portrait and fashion photographer Rankin, the competition aims to uncover undiscovered British and Irish talent.
The foodies, film makers, musical maestros and photographers will work with one of the four famous mentors to collaborate on a unique project. This journey, from application to the launch of their final project, will be documented in a TV series set to air later this year.
Andy Griffiths, President of Samsung UK and Ireland, said "Everyone knows Samsung for launching products and every day we're inspired by people who use those products to achieve amazing things. 'Launching People' is all about doing just that – launching people's potential through technology, whatever their stage in life. We hope to give people with passion, ambition and a hungry mind, a launch pad for their bright ideas and change their lives in a positive way."
To apply, all you need do is make a two minute video pitching your idea for an exciting project. One made, upload it to www.LaunchingPeople.co.uk before the 6 March deadline.
This isn't the first time Samsung have branched out with unusual campaigns - in November last year it launched it's #WinnerTakesEarth riddle that aimed to save the world from alien domination through football. Of course.
