Samsung has finally pulled the cloak on its eagerly anticipated new flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S5, at Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona.
We spent some early hands on time with the device and were generally impressed.

Needless to say, UK gadget enthusiasts are now keen to learn more about when they'll be able to get their paws on the snazzy new gadget.
So far, five retailers and networks have confirmed that they will be offering the Samsung Galaxy S5, with global rollout rumoured to be starting around 11 April.
Details, especially on the pricing front, are still thin on the ground at this stage, but we'll update this article with any future developments.
The Carphone Warehouse was quick to issue a statement confirming it will be stocking the Samsung Galaxy S5 when it lands in the UK. However, the retailer hasn't yet offered up any pricing details or a firm arrival date.
"Carphone Warehouse will be one of the first outlet retailers to bring the S5 to consumers in the UK and we know our customers are eager to get their hands on it," said Graham Stapleton, UK and Ireland CEO for Carphone Warehouse.
EE is looking to up the ante and has promised an "exclusive incentive" for those pre-ordering the Samsung Galaxy S5. However, the generally pricy network hasn't said when it will send its pre-order process into orbit, or revealed anything about tariffs
Phones 4u has also confirmed that it will be stocking the Samsung Galaxy S5, saying it will soon be opening up a pre-registration page so potential buyers can keep up to speed with the latest developments.
"The Samsung Galaxy S4, was one of the most pre-ordered smartphones at Phones 4u in 2013 and we expect the Samsung Galaxy S5 to be no exception to that trend," commented Phones 4u CMO Scott Hooton.
Three will be offering the Samsung Galaxy S5 but is keeping similarly mum about the finer details at present. However, the company did draw attention to the benefits of its affordable 4G tariffs and all-you-can-eat data deals.
"With great camera technology and innovative health features, we are delighted to be ranging the Samsung Galaxy S5. Perfect for those who want to tweet their park run progress or simply share a stunning sunset image on their way home, people can do so quickly using Three's 4G network which we offer at no extra cost, while also making the most of our all-you-can-eat data," said Sylvia Chind, head of devices at Three.
Vodafone has also announced that it will be carrying the Samsung Galaxy S5 but has yet to confirm pricing or hint at a firm launch date. The company has added it will release further details soon.
