Sony’s Xperia Z2 handset is popping up on pre-order in more and more places a month ahead of its UK launch, with Vodafone being the latest to join the Z2 party.
Vodafone has the release date pegged at 10 April, a day ahead of Phones 4u which has it down for 11 April – but clearly enough Sony is aiming to get the device on shelves around 10 April.
Various Sony goodies have been offered by several retailers pushing the Xperia Z2, but Vodafone has gone further than the usual speakers and kit, with a free Sony Bravia 32in TV bundled. Yes, you read that right – a free television, but the catch is that only the first 3,000 customers who hit that pre-order button will get one.
The TV in question, by the way, is the Sony KDL 32 R47.
As for the contract price, Vodafone is offering the handset for free on a £42 per month plan, with unlimited calls and texts, plus 1GB of data.
The cheapest plan is £34 per month for 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 250MB of data – but you’ll need to stump up £149 for the phone with that contract. 4G plans start at £47 per month (with 3GB of data).
