Plenty has been happening over at CeBIT this week – as you’ll realise if you’ve been following our live blog of the show – but this afternoon is set to see one of the highlights for many people. Namely that Apple Co-founder and tech luminary Steve Wozniak will deliver his keynote speech.
We will, of course, be covering that live as well – but maybe you want to actually watch the mighty “Woz” deliver his words of wisdom online? Fortunately, you can, as there’s a livestream on the CeBIT site (in fact, you can follow all of today’s speakers).
To watch the live video at 15:15 today (UK time, 16:15 in Germany), point your browser here, sit back, and enjoy. The quality of the stream is pretty good, at least at the moment – it will of course see much heavier traffic when Wozniak takes to the stage.
Should you have any trouble with the above link, then try this instead: Head to Wozniak’s CeBIT special guest page, and click on the “Event Video” button.
We’ve just been watching the livestream for the last half hour or so, and in fact Woz was mentioned on stage by a couple of chaps (whose names we sadly missed on-screen). They noted how Wozniak was appearing later today, and how he was worried about the cloud and security risks it represents in general. That’s something he’s talked about before, and a topic that will likely crop up again today.
Even if you do watch the Woz strut his stuff live, be sure to check out our coverage later for added analysis and discussion of his speech.
