Bag Yourself a Billboard competition aims to find UK's best pitch

If you're a UK small business looking for a big voice to shout about your work, a new competition has just launched that may just be the proverbial megaphone you need.

Business software specialist Sage has just announced "Bag Yourself a Billboard," a competition aimed at discovering the UK's best small enterprise. The winning company will win two weeks of premium advertising on a billboard in the heart of London's Tech City, as well as one million online ad impressions.

With over 30 years of experience working with both small and large businesses, Sage says that it has launched the competition as part of its continuing quest to uncover original talent. and promote the next big business idea.

Both the billboard and the one million online banner impressions will be curated in partnership with Sage and award-winning creative agency OgilvyOne. From 16-29 June 2014, the winning entrant's bespoke billboard alone will be seen by countless influential passers-by, with estimates positing that the victorious business will reach around two million potential new customers in Silicon Roundabout and beyond.

Entrants need to submit a "creative and inspiring" 60-second pitch to Sage via, explaining why their business deserves this advertising opportunity. Props and tools are encouraged but formal presentations are strictly prohibited.

All votes will be submitted and registered on the website, and the experts at Sage will choose the best of the top rated pitches in the coming weeks.
