Carphone Warehouse has you guys in mind with the retailer hiring a team of athletes to deliver the brand new device in record time and without the hassle of rush hour traffic.

The device, which came out today, will be delivered to customers on launch day thanks to the athletes, who will run around London, if the accompanying images are anything to go by, in order to fulfil orders for the handset.

“Samsung has built up an exceptionally loyal fanbase; the Android army seems to be building, as backed up by our record breaking pre-orders for the S5. Many in the industry were taken by surprise when Samsung decided to launch their new handset earlier than usual and so close to many other announcements, but it’s certainly paid off. Interest in Samsung’s newest flagship device is higher than ever and it’s on course to be one of the biggest selling handsets of the year,” said Claire Winstanley, UK trading director at Carphone Warehouse.

Carphone Warehouse is offering the Samsung Galaxy S5 at £569.95 SIM-free and contract prices start at £42 per-month with no upfront cost and £33 per month for customers trading in an old phone, on top of the trade-in price for the device itself.

In addition to this, the retailer is offering £100 on top of the trade-in value of any handset meaning that an iPhone 5 16GB owner can get £290 cashback and a Samsung Galaxy S4 handset will provide £261.50 cashback to put towards the Galaxy S5’s price.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 went on sale globally this morning alongside the Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit smartwatches with health and fitness at the heart of the new line of devices.
