Sony Xperia M2 now available in purple at Phones 4u

If you're a fan of Sony's smartphones, then you'll be interested to learn that the Xperia M2 is now on sale at the Phones 4u website and retail stores, with an exclusive colour to boot.

The Xperia M2 can be had in black, white, or the exclusive purple colour scheme, which looks rather natty (and reminds us of a tie-dye shirt we used to own back at university at the close of the eighties – just the colour, and not the overall style factor, you'll be pleased to hear).

The Xperia M2 boasts a 4.8in display with a resolution of 960 x 540, a 1.2GHz quad-core CPU, 1GB of RAM, and an 8 megapixel camera. It also supports 4G LTE and has a microSD slot for storage expansion.

If you want the handset on PAYG, then Phones 4u is offering it for £220, or £230 SIM-free. For those who would prefer a contract, you can get the Xperia M2 for free from £25 per month on a 3G deal, and £30 monthly on a 4G contract.

There's also a small sweetener Phones 4u has thrown in, namely a Sony Entertainment Network pack, which is a grab-bag of three movies, eight PlayStation mobile games, Michael Jackson's Xscape album (you don't have to download it if you don't want to) and 30 days of Music Unlimited, Sony's streaming tunes service.
