It is a cliché to say that us Brits are obsessed with the weather, so I am not going to do that. So... erm... moving swiftly on, Bright Weather is a weather app that gives you plenty of information on which to base your decision about what to wear and whether or not you need a brolly.
There are versions for Windows Phone, iPhone and Android. Go on, call me biased, but I prefer the latter which gives Yahoo Weather a run for its money in the looks and features department.
On Android you get: A full hourly 24 hour forecast with temperature and symbol based sun/rain/cloudy indications, a six day forecast, phases of the moon, UV index, rather nice weather maps showing clouds, rain, snow, pressure, temperature and wind using data from OpenWeatherMap, the absolutely vital weather widgets, and even notifications that can be customised to alert you to temperature changes.
The iPhone and Windows Phone apps vary a little in their features, and Windows Phone users can have dynamically updating tiles and info showing on the lock screen.
