Boots UK has announced the launch of the new Boots app, which it hopes will provide a better shopping experience for its customers.
The new app, which works in conjunction with a Boots Advantage Card, will display in store offers that are personal to each individual consumer.
Deals will be based on users' shopping habits and are available as part of the My Offers feature, which means customers no longer have to wait for coupons to be delivered every few months.
Offers can be added to the Boots Advantage Card and redeemed in-store immediately.
Director of Loyalty and Multi-Channel at Boots UK, Ruth Spencer, said that the new app shows that the company is listening to consumers.
"Over a third of customers tell us they regularly forget to put paper coupons in their purse and can miss out on the best offers for them. The Boots app makes that a thing of the past, ensuring our customers always have access to the offers they want the most, when they want them – not just quarterly."
The app will feature a wide range of offers, from point boosters such as 300 points when you spend £12 on makeup, to saver deals like 25 per cent off hair care products.
Other features include a barcode scanner that allows customers to research products while in-store and a news and events page with information on their local branch or favourite brands.
