With the nation in a state of mourning following England’s exit from the World Cup it’s down to the UK’s favourite Scot to lift everyone’s spirits back up as Andy Murray’s Wimbledon defence continues this evening.
Murray has already negotiated two early challenges and now faces his first real test in the shape of the 27th seed Roberto Bautista Agut from Spain on Centre Court.
Centre Court holds 15,000 fans and international dignitaries with Henman Hill only accommodating a certain amount leaving most people having to catch the action elsewhere.
Thankfully there are plenty of ways to follow the action depending on where you find yourself. Given that the match is scheduled to get underway around 1700 it is smack bang in the middle of rush hour. Thankfully the slog home is made easier by the extensive coverage afforded by the BBC Sport app or website and a 4G connection will be able to handle the live video stream that is available free of charge.
Anyone unlucky enough to still be at the office can point their browser straight to the BBC iPlayer’s Watch Live section here to catch all the action from SW19.
Of course for those that either work from home or have taken a sicky then BBC One on the trusty TV set will be showing Murray’s bout with Bautista Agut with a plethora of options available on the red button.
After Murray recently revealed his new culinary habits the only question now is whether it’ll be banana on bagels over strawberries and cream on Henman Hill. Find out later today!
